After escaping the burning chaos of Larose, Cullen and his companions flee into Dire Wood, a place of unnatural light, shifting dread, and thinning reality. Pursued by Razor Hunters and haunted by the weight of what they’ve already lost, the group is pushed deeper into a forest that feels less like refuge and more like a warning.
As Cullen stands watch through the long night, his thoughts turn to bloodshed, duty, Sharael, and the growing power of the Dark Razor. But before dawn breaks, the Oath’s beacon shifts from thirteen points to twelve, revealing a grim truth: one of the White Circle has fallen.

In S06E02 — Beneath a Broken Luna, the road through Dire Wood grows stranger, darker, and far more dangerous.
With Razor Hunters still behind them, Cullen, Sharael, Cair, Shawn, and DagGar break camp and press deeper into the forest. Along the way, they witness impossible scenes: a brimstone-tainted mirage of centaurs running through phantom fire, an ancient hidden route known as Magi’s Pass, and an old-world ruin that seems tied to something far worse.
When Shawn investigates the structure alone, he returns shaken by a vision of a burning world and Luna shattered across the sky. The revelation strikes Sharael hard, and in the aftermath, the company is left with more fear than certainty.
What Dire Wood is showing them remains unclear. Memory, prophecy, fracture, or warning — whatever it is, the world feels closer than ever to the brink.

In S06E03 — The World Behind the Wood, Dire Wood’s distortions deepen from mystery into terrifying pattern.
After the revelation of Direth Station and the hidden duties tied to the South Blades, Cullen, Sharael, Cair, Shawn, and DagGar continue south through the strange preserved paths of the forest. But as the orange glow intensifies and the unease around them grows, their journey is interrupted by the arrival of Farthen Feltlen — one of the Original Five, answering Sharael’s call.
Farthen brings more than reinforcement. He brings confirmation.
His account of moving through a second overlapping world — one filled with war, fractured sky, fleeing creatures, centaurs, and impossible terrain — reveals that the visions in Dire Wood are becoming more than brief glimpses. Something in the forest is layering one reality over another, and it may already be closing in on the camp.
As Book 3 unfolds, the danger is no longer only pursuit. It is perception, prophecy, and the terrifying sense that the world behind the wood is pressing through.

In S06E04 — Direth Station, the company is forced off the forest path and into the ancient infrastructure hidden beneath Dire Wood.
After Sharael confirms the terrible truth behind the thinning and the fate of Sansa, Cullen and the others realise they are being boxed in. The strange fracture in reality floats just above the forest floor, cutting off every route except one: back to the old-world structure Shawn found earlier, a place known as Direth Station #66 — Cooling Ring.
With distant screams rising behind them and no safe road left through the woods, the group descends into the station’s metal stairwell and into a buried network of corridors, glow bulbs, pipes, damp brickwork, and failing ancient systems. But the deeper they go, the more oppressive the place becomes. The air grows colder. The smell worsens. Something brittle crunches underfoot. And ahead, in the dim corridor, something waits just out of sight.
Book 3 continues with pressure, claustrophobia, and a descent into the buried bones of a forgotten age.

In S06E05 — Brood Mother, the descent through Direth Station grows hotter, deadlier, and far more claustrophobic.
Moving south through the cooling ring, Cullen and the others discover the collapsed edge of a cavern filled with cave-pedes, the bodies of fallen South Blades, and evidence that the Garans are using devastating projectile weapons unlike anything most of the company has seen before. Ancient corridors branch through hot service tunnels, abandoned rooms, and common areas still filled with relics of the old world.
But even in the middle of exhaustion, curiosity, and uneasy wonder, danger keeps pace with them.
When the group pauses in what looks like a defensible common room, the furniture proves not to be furniture at all. A massive cave-pede brood mother rises from the room itself, and the company is thrown into sudden close-quarters battle.
Book 3 continues with buried war, old technology, and a fight in the dark that leaves no room to retreat.

In S06E06 — The Betrayer’s Foothold, the company survives the brood mother attack — but the deeper consequences of Sansa finally begin to emerge.
After a tense night spent barricaded inside an ancient common room, Cullen and the others wake to find the cave-pede horde gone and the corridor outside coated in drying slime. With the way briefly clear, they prepare to continue south through Direth Station. But before they go, Sharael reveals more of what truly happened in Sansa.
The demon she bargained with was no ordinary infernal creature.
As Cullen learns the name Juhada Iscahrot, the Betrayer, the scale of the threat changes. What happened in Sansa may not have been a passing corruption or a contained disaster. It may be the beginning of something far worse.
And still, the tunnels offer no peace. The company moves on through dim corridors and rising tension, with faint hissing in the distance and the ever-present fear that the danger below may not be finished with them yet.

In S06E07 — SPELL KEEPER, the company’s flight through Direth Station ends at a sealed chamber and a revelation none of them were prepared for.
With the cave-pedes surging behind them, Cullen, Sharael, Cair, Shawn, Farthen, and DagGar are forced through the doors of Chamber #5, where they discover a vast domed archive buried beneath the station — and at its centre, a dying dragon named Sha’Rayna, curled atop a mountain of books, scrolls, and lost records.
Wounded by the “Weird Ones” and failing quickly, Sha’Rayna reveals that her duty must be passed on before it is too late. But before trust can be given, she tests Cullen and the Razor itself. What follows is part judgement, part confession, and part farewell, as Sharael recounts the long path that led them here and Sha’Rayna breathes her last.
Book 3 turns again here — from pursuit and underground horror toward myth, loss, and the burden of old responsibilities no one else is left to carry.

As they regroup, rest, and resupply, a different tension begins to emerge.

S06E09 — Ash and Laughter
As the group prepares to leave the safety of the ancient elfin quarters, the weight of the journey ahead presses in.
Cullen wrestles with a disturbing shift in his dreams—Tonana’s message no longer a temptation, but a threat.
You will join Him.
Yet in the face of that darkness, something unexpected happens.
A shared meal becomes a moment of levity.Tension fractures into laughter.And for the first time in days, the group feels… human again.
But the journey forward offers no comfort.
The thinning reaches deeper than expected.The tunnels stretch endlessly.And whatever lies ahead is closing in.
